W HEN my Grandfather started our business JE Wilson and Sons in 1913, he couldn?t have imagined that nearly 100 years later we would have progressed to making chocolates for many top retailers on the British High Street and around the world.

Wilson's began with a shop in Kendal High Street, making traditional Kendal Mint Cake delivered throughout the Lakes by pony and trap.

Over the years the business grew prompting a move to a factory (still located in the middle of Kendal). Our current site now complies with all 21st century manufacturing standards and is BRC certified.

Mint Cake today is made in exactly the same way as my Father and Grandfather did all those years ago. Our business today however focuses primarily on chocolate manufacturing for both seasonal and every day markets.

In recent years we have added the Creative Confecitonery & Duncan's brands to the range, to offer well-presented, quality products to our customers wherever they are. We take great pride in continuing with the traditional values and high standards that my Grandfather established in 1913.
